Default Anyone Have experience living in Panama?

WOuld like to go there but wondering about how bad the Mosquitos are there
and just general info like how tuff is it to have a business or to buy a rental property to live and to rent. Just seems like there should be more business opps there than in the US rite now with our flat economy. (for a guy w/lilttle
cash down) how much are rents in boquete, and is it mandatory to hire an attorney to apply for residency?
thanks David

Default Boquete, Panama

I have been to the mountains of Panama (near the Costa Rica border) many times and bought land there. The elevation of Boquete is about 3200' with mild temps year round. Mosquitos are not a problem. Have a look at The Best Place to retire - Panama has a rich culture, affordable living and the perfect climate. for more information and pictures about the area.
