Default Rainy Season

Rainy season May - Dec Dry warm sunny mornings then usually rain sometimes heavy from about 3.00pm for a few hours the stops. We wake early to make the most of the mornings. The gardens, tropical plants and flowers thrive in these conditions. Dry season we have weeks/months with little rain.

Chiriqui highlands (near Costa Rica border) have many micro climates so you can chose higher altitudes to live in cooler climates or travel a few minutes and have the hotter dryer conditions. We have the choice of Pacific beaches or Caribbean, just a few hours drive apart.

There are many US families with kids at school here. Mine are grown so no first hand experience, but try these. I am sure the families here will help answer your questions.

Pretty great place to live actually :-)
